The food at the Lodge is not just about eating; it is prepared with you in mind and the menu is centered on your personal likes. Your meal can be eaten in private or with others. We guarantee total enjoyment for your dining experience.
Don’t forget the large hot tub (big enough for 7 and yet small enough for 2). The tub sits off the deck with easy access to the main lodge. Towels, slippers and robes are made available for use. The view is phenomenal — mountains, an occasional moose sauntering through the brush, the sound of the loons and the swans as they land smoothly on the lake — a lake that has been cored sampled at 14,000 years. Imagine the Glacier was at one time right where the Lodge stands.
The lake in summer is the perfect place to canoe, kayak or paddleboat. There are times the swans will swim right up to your canoe. There is an island in the middle of the lake which serves as a site where the moose teach their babies to swim. In the winter, the lake provides a nice space for cross country skiing, as well as snow machine riding, or just enjoying the mile walk around the lake looking for animal prints.
